Hose End Sprayer For BLEACH WASH

This is the hose end sprayer you should use for the Bleach Wash product. This is a 20 gallon sprayer and a GREEN top not to be confused with the red one that has a RED top. The RED top sprayer will use too much product.

Do you simply put the BW concentrate in the jar and let the venturi do the mixing?  confuse

Nice. Now if I could find one that had a male adapter for the outlet I could simply run a bit of BW through my pump to neutralize it.  biggrin

Use a 5 gallon bucket and put a dollap of BW in there then add water. 5 gallons does the pump, reel and 300 feet of hose.

I have used bleach wash to keep my extra tips and and every thing clean. I have put thing in that stuff that I new wouldn't come clean and amazed what I have seen when I check it again. I was actually telling my father in law to try it on his boat where the salt water had dried up and left residue.

Awesome stuff.

And I have used the dollup method in five gallons many times. Works every time!!!

Yep, I do that already after reading one of the posts early last year. Probably just continue to do so. I also do 5-gallons of RV antifreeze on nights when it's going below freezing here. I always take my suction wand out for about 5 seconds between switching products so that it sends an air slug through the system, This way I know when one product is completely evacuated (by the sputtering & air) and the next on has filled my system (constant flow resumption).

Actually Doug I have considered repackaging Bleach Wash as a marine friendly, bio degradable, boat soap for washing your boat while its in the docking slip. You can discharge Bleach Wash completely leagally into the water.

Keep a gallon pump up sprayer on hand. 2 ounces BW mixed w 1 gallon water removes any bleach streaks on windows and they dry pretty much spotless. Keep a quart spray bottle on hand for spraying your nozzles, fittings, clamps, your etc. makes em last much longer. I even spray it in my hands on the rare occasion I have gotten bleach on them.

Great advice Doug!

Even though I wear gloves, I sometimes get some of the solution on my hands and then I can't keep enough lotion on hand to keep them from drying and cracking.  In the past I've kept a little squirt bottle of hydrogen peroxide, but the BW would make more sense, I assume.

Using a pump-up to touch up the windows sounds like another time saver too if I didn't want to use the hose-end sprayer listed above.  Might use both though. the hose end for lower story windows and the pump up for 3rd story windows.  We'll experiment.

Thanks for the great advice, as always y'all.  smile

I have had a hose end sprayer in my trailer toolbox forever and when I got the new cradle system I got it out and sprayed it all the way to my second story window on my house. It was one that the windex window cleaner stuff came in. I have tried many other hose end sprayers but non that would get any distance. I do not know the ratio that it would mix the bw with but it will definitely hit those second story windows with the bw. You could use it for a truck rinse too.

Just another thought!

Why is a hose end sprayer recommened rather than just running it through the pump like we apply the SH?

Not everyone has more than one tank with enough capacity to make enough BW. The hose end sprayer is the alternative.

You would never want to accidentially get Bleach Wash into your mix.

Never thought about getting BW into the SH tank....that would kill the SH. I'll make sure I flush the hose each time I transfer from one tank to the other. Thanks AC. Sometimes the obvious things get overlooked.

Now you got me thinking....would it be a good idea to have a dedicated pump for the BW.....or will flushing out the hose after applying the BW be enough before using the SH again ???

Just run 5 gallons of fresh water through your system before using bleach again.
